3D Clock Screensaver requires the
Microsoft .net framework,version 2.0 in order to run. You can
download it for free from Microsoft.
It is sometimes possible that the 3d animation does not appear on screen on Windows Vista when the desktop composition (3d effetcts, glassy windows) is enabled.
In order to fix this problem:
- Navigate to Clock Screensaver's installation directory (usually
C:\Program Files\gljakal\ClockSaver
)
- Right click on the file named
ClockSaver.exe
and choose properties
- From the
Compatibility
tab, check Disable desktop composition
This problem may also be easily solved by updating your video card drivers.
In order to run 3D Clock Screensaver, your computer needs 3d-capable video card. You don't need to have the latest and the greatest, but anything below a Geforce 2 will not be enough.
If you have a modern video card, usually you can get better performances by simply updating your video card drivers.
If you still have performance issues, you can try reducing the display size in the screensaver's options dialog.
